Don Kalb is Professor of Social Anthropology at the University of Bergen and leader of the Frontlines of Value research program (Topforsk). Before coming to Bergen he was Professor of Sociology and Social Anthropology at Central European University, Budapest; Director of the SOCO program, IWM Vienna; and Senior Researcher at Utrecht University. Don has held Visiting Professorships at the European University Institute, Florence; the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology, Halle; the Advanced Research Collaborative at the Graduate Center, CUNY; the Fudan Institute for Advanced Studies, Shanghai; and the University of Melbourne, Institute of Social Anthropology. His last book is (with Chris Hann): Financialization, Relational Approaches (2020. New York and Oxford: Berghahn Books).
