Elina Troscenko is the Head of the GRIP Secretariat.
Troscenko has a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Bergen and her academic work has primarily focused on state manifestation practices among marginalized populations, such as stateless people in Central Asia and internally displaced people in Caucasus. Her main research interests and expertise lies within post-Soviet transformation processes, Soviet legacies and state building practices.
She is also a member of the Rafto Prize Committee.
