Navigating Challenges, Embracing Opportunities in Green Transition Finance

Academic festival Day Zero (7 February 2024) marks the first day of the SDG Conference Bergen. The day offers free, hybrid (in-person and digital) opportunities for workshops, debates, exhibitions related to the SDGs. The conference is running under the theme “The role of universities in transformative change” and one of the sessions hosted by GRIP at this year’s Day Zero is “Navigating the Challenges and Embracing Opportunities in Green Transition Finance”.


NAVIGATING THE CHALLENGES AND EMBRACING OPPORTUNITIES IN GREEN TRANSITION FINANCE

As the world grapples with the urgent challenge of climate change, the green transition towards renewable energy sources has become a cornerstone of sustainable development. However, this transition presents a complex financial landscape, particularly for developing nations. Join us as we explore the pivotal role of green transition finance in bridging global disparities and accelerating a sustainable future. Some of the key topics explored at this session are:
